Job responsibilities

Develop advanced applications for the Android platform
Translate design into user-friendly applications
Ensure quality, responsiveness, and high performance of the application
Analyze code quality, efficiency, functionality, and performance
Share valuable ideas to estimate product features and potential solutions
Participate in troubleshooting production issues and keeping documentation for future reference

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or IT (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience as an Android app developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Deep knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, and Android Jetpack components
Strong grasp of Android design principles, and Android SDK
Portfolio of published original android app on Playstore
Fluency in English language for effective communication
Full-time availability (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Experience in implementing database concepts using SQLite, Room
Understanding of debugging using ADB DDMS, Crashlytics, etc.
Ability to run unit testing using Mockito, Robolectric, Junit, etc.
Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
