Job description

Job responsibilities

Assist in developing clean, effective, and reusable JS code
Be responsible for monitoring, mentoring, and advocating SDLC best practices
Make sure to keep documentation of each release cycle for future reference
Ensure application optimization for overall performance, including better availability, accessibility, security, etc.
Collaborate with product managers, back-end developers and designers to implement cutting-edge and resourceful front-end solutions
Act proactively in analyzing issues, resolving them, and providing technical support.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in software development using JavaScript (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
Extensive experiences with front-end technologies, like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficient in using JS libraries and frameworks, such as Angular, Vue.js, ReactJS, etc.
Strongholds on server-side JavaScript technologies, like Node.js, Next.js, etc.
Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database technologies
Experience with APIs and GraphQL
Fluency in English to communicate cross-functionally
Full-time availability (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Experience with OOP and version control tools, like Git
Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, etc.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced Agile environment
