Job responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement microservices and back-end APIs
Analyze performance to upgrade performance and functionality
Collaborate with developers for creating code, testing, and setting off Node.js based services
Write clean, efficient, testable, and reusable codes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop highly efficient back-end components

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in Node.js development (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
Profound knowledge of Node frameworks, including Express, StrongLoop, etc.
Proficiency in developing and implementing microservices, REST, API design, and third-party libraries
Strongholds on JavaScript its frameworks and libraries
Proficient in supporting large-scale distributed system production support
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Good understanding of HTML and CSS
Familiarity with relational database systems
Understanding of code versioning tools like Git and GCP/AWS
Knowledge of server-side logic and front-end performance optimization
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
