Job description
Job responsibilities
- Develop, implement and automate ETL and data pipelines with up-to-date industry standards
- Well-versed in the design, development, and implementation of optimal and scalable AWS services
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant and latest technologies into the design
- Research, diagnose, and monitor any performance issues or vulnerabilities
- Assist the development team by tuning or creating queries for large database
- Lead team meetings and workshops with clients
- Design robust, scalable, and secure features
- Work and collaborate with the analytics team to deliver the required data structure
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of experience in delivering advanced analytical solutions
- Experience with AWS, Python, Scala, Java, Lamda, PostgreSQL, and Docker
- Professional experience in data engineering profile and data warehousing tools
- Experience in Big Data technologies, like Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and HBase
- Expertise in building reliable and scalable ETL pipelines
- Strong programming skills and understanding of functional programming
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure GIT repo, AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zone
Preferred skills
- Understanding of SDLC and enterprise architecture patterns
- Extensive experience developing dashboards and OLAP environments
- Solid technical expertise to deliver scalable enterprise-grade solutions
- Certifications in Microsoft Database Development is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Well-organized approach to problem-solving and debugging
- Strong communication skills and experience in leading a team
