Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, maintain, and automate regular operational analysis and reporting
  • Work closely with the leadership team to understand business objectives, challenges and address business needs
  • Create and test functional databases to meet various client requirements
  • Develop appropriate and accurate database documentation
  • Use Access analytics to monitor solutions and discover any performance bottlenecks
  • Install apt security features to ensure maximum protection of information
  • Improve overall usability by making necessary modifications

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in database development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft Access and other databases, database design, and data structures
  • Extensive working experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Solid grip over query writing, database table/schema design
  • Proficient with report writing on Access, SSRS, or other
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Proficiency in using APIs or automation tools
  • Knowledge of macros and VBA
  • Understanding of SAS Analytical Software Solutions
  • Great technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent logical thinking and collaborative skills
