Job description

Job responsibilities

Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end cross-platform software products
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle
Define guidelines and best practices to optimize software systems
Maintain close communication with QA team to troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade solutions
Analyze existing systems and suggest new opportunities for improvement and optimization
Integrate solutions with various APIs and third-party libraries to increase productivity and data consistency

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Proficient with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries, including React, Node, Python, JavaScript, React Native, PHP, Python, Java, among others
Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
Fluent with software design and architecture for large-scale distributed systems
Well-versed with data structures and algorithms
Functional knowledge and design experience with Web Services (REST) along with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
Efficiency in using code versioning tools like Git and project management tools like Jira
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Solid understanding Linux/Unix environment
Familiar with CI/CD/CT pipelines
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Comfortable working with distributed environments
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
