Job description
Job responsibilities
- Develop new mobile applications, features, and user interfaces from wireframe models using React ecosystem
- Integrate both platforms iOS and Android with Native APIs
- Ensure the best performance and user experience of the application
- Participate in fixing bugs and troubleshooting performance issues
- Maximize code reusability and efficiency to build a reliable solution
- Focus on writing clean, readable, scalable, and effective high-performant code
- Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in React Native mobile development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Deep knowledge of mobile app development right from prototyping
- High-level proficiency in React Native, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, and component state
- Well-versed with tools like Flux, Flow, Redux, etc.
- In-depth expertise in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON format
- Proficient with third-party APIs and mobile libraries for networking
- Expertise in creating and maintaining continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications
- Strong knowledge of profiling and debugging mobile applications
- Fluency in the English language for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Ability to write automated tests in JUnit, Espresso, Mocha, Enzyme, etc.
- Solid understanding of Git, MongoDB, Crashlytics and push notifications systems
- Capable to create efficient CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Swift, Objective C, and Java
- Proficient with Agile software development methods
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
