Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test blockchain systems, blockchain applications, and REST services
  • Architect, develop, test, and deploy blockchain solutions across Function X, Ethereum and BSC blockchains
  • Maintain documentation of blockchain development processes and best practices in data protection
  • Define development best practices, facilitate code reviews, and process improvements
  • Make sure all team members keep up with modern blockchain technologies and cryptography methods
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers of the team technically

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5+ years of blockchain development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Demonstrable experience with Next.js, React, and DevOps
  • Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Proficient with Web3.js for contract and wallet integrations on sale/liquidity pages
  • Hands-on expertise in developing and debugging smart contracts on Solidity
  • Extensive experience in back-end, blockchain, and smart contract development
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) and a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge in EIPS, XIPs, W3C, or other standardization
  • Active in technical evangelism (GitHub or conferences)
  • Familiarity with Adobe XD, Invision, and Slack is plus
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a blockchain team
  • Ability to work in a high-paced Agile environment
