Job responsibilities

Write high-quality, scalable code
Develop technical specifications and unit test cases
Be accountable for performing application unit testing activities
Communicate globally with Sales, Engineering, and Support teams to understand the product and new requirements for development
Collaborate cross-functionally to create and implement innovative solutions
Ensure on-time and top-quality delivery of software development projects
Adhere to the latest technology standards and best practices

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled engineers)
Exceptional skills in system and requirement analysis
Stronghold on popular languages like Java, C#, C++, SQL, VB.Net, etc.
Expertise in Java, .NET programming and web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, EJB, Spring, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
Exposure to frameworks, like Spring MVC, .NET MVC, Hibernate, Angular, etc.
Prolific experience in SDLC methodologies, data migration, and automation testing
Hands-on knowledge of web services, including SOAP and REST
Experience using tools like Eclipse, Visual Studio, SVN, Git, GitHub, RabbitMQ, etc.
Ability to communicate fluently in English
Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) and a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Understanding of PHP and MySQL
Familiar with web and/or app servers, like Apache, JBoss, Tomcat, Glassfish, Xampp, Wamp, etc.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile development principles
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter and a team player
