Job description

Job responsibilities

Build interactive and clean user Interfaces using different front-end technologies
Develop robust back-end solutions using Java technologies to retrieve data from the servers
Create databases and servers resistant to outages
Ensure cross-platform compatibility by creating applications to work on different platforms
Take responsibility for creating APIs based on the type of application
Assist in building flexible applications that meet requirements

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
3+ years experience working as a full-stack Java developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Experience working with build automation tools and technologies such as Maven, Nexus, Bamboo, GitHub, etc.
Expertise in front-end development with ReactJS, Redux, and Saga
Ability to develop Microservices with considerable experience in Spring Boot
Experience with database technologies such as SQL, MongoDB
Proficient with distributed message queues/logs such as Kafka, RabbitMQ
Experience working with Java EE, and also fluent in Java 8 and Java 11
Knowledge of web development with AngularJS
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hours overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Familiarity with automatic testing and qualification
Good understanding of inter-process communication and JVM peculiarities
Familiarity with technologies including WSDL, REST, SOAP web services, XML, Adobe CQ5 DAM, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Hibernate, Spring, etc.
Experience with OracleDB and SQL
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
