Job description
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to analyze requirements, development processes, and plan the delivery roadmap
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs and other issues found in existing PHP programs
- Work with cross-functional teams to offer smooth operations experience of web processes and infrastructure
- Develop PHP scripts to help client systems meet performance goals and objectives
- Work closely with the QA team to develop a software testing plan for client applications
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for the development cycle and code
- Create or modify client software with the help of source debuggers
- Assist the project owners and development team to complete projects promptly
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of proven experience in PHP development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Good knowledge and work experience of the basic PHP 7 or web server exploits
- Strong understanding of PHP coding and web-based applications
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and related databases and detailed understanding of database design and administration
- Good grasp of website integration and software creation as well as the ability to integrate applications with third party services using REST APIs
- Proficiency in fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Fluency in English for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a daily 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Experience in building or maintaining CMS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Focused and enthusiastic about delivering results
