Job description

Job responsibilities

Collaborate with clients and project owners to better understand the business requirements
Communicate with front-end developers and help them integrate front-end to server-side logic and database
Work closely with the development team to review and refactor the codebase
Troubleshoot and debug code to optimize the application and ensure the best performance
Contribute to all stages of software development life cycle right from design to deployment and maintenance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deploy security and data protection solutions

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience working as a Python programmer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Highly proficient in Python language and frameworks including Django, Flask, Bottle, etc.
Familiar with Database, including schemas and ORMs
Strong knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc.
Proficiency in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Hands-on experience in GCP, AWS, REST API, and JSON
Expertise working with Kubernetes and Docker
Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts
Understanding of AWS or other cloud computing services
Comfortable with Agile software development processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
