Job responsibilities

Integrate user-facing elements into applications
Implement data security and protection within the application
Integrate data storage solutions
Design and implement reliable, low-latency, and highly performant applications
Assist in building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party web services
Optimize web servers to ensure better app performance and scalability

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of professional experience in Python development with a focus on Django framework (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Expertise in multiple popular Python frameworks, like Django, Flask, Pyramid, etc.
Understanding of event-driven programming in Python
Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
Sound knowledge of version control using Git, SVN, etc.
Fluent in English for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
Comfortable with Agile development and delivery methodologies
Good team spirit and problem-solving skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
