Job description

Job responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the deliverables align with business goals and client needs
Participate in developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
Build and maintain both web and mobile applications for the client business
Conduct regular security and performance checks to ensure stability and responsiveness of the application
Write clean, scalable, reusable code and review existing code
Find solutions to security threats, viruses, or errors to ensure continuous performance
Contribute to improving the overall application development process and keeping up-to-date with industry trends

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years application developer experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Extensive experience in core programming principles, including design
Proficient with at least one programming language like C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc.
Experience in designing and delivering APIs and backend services
Well-versed with architectural patterns like MVP, MVC, MVVM, etc.
Good knowledge of mobile app design guidelines for different platforms like Android, iOS, Windows
Fluency in English language for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Familiarity with project tracking software, such as Jira
Knowledge of version control tools, like Git
Certification in application development is a plus
Comfortable with Agile software development environment
Good reasoning, analytical, consultative, and communication skills
