Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the deliverables align with business goals and client needs
  • Participate in developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
  • Build and maintain both web and mobile applications for the client business
  • Conduct regular security and performance checks to ensure stability and responsiveness of the application
  • Write clean, scalable, reusable code and review existing code
  • Find solutions to security threats, viruses, or errors to ensure continuous performance
  • Contribute to improving the overall application development process and keeping up-to-date with industry trends

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years application developer experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Extensive experience in core programming principles, including design
  • Proficient with at least one programming language like C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc.
  • Experience in designing and delivering APIs and backend services
  • Well-versed with architectural patterns like MVP, MVC, MVVM, etc.
  • Good knowledge of mobile app design guidelines for different platforms like Android, iOS, Windows
  • Fluency in English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with project tracking software, such as Jira
  • Knowledge of version control tools, like Git
  • Certification in application development is a plus
  • Comfortable with Agile software development environment
  • Good reasoning, analytical, consultative, and communication skills
