Job responsibilities

Determine requirements for software development projects
Develop robust and scalable software solutions
Make sure to meet and exceed client aspirations in terms of intuitive software solutions
Develop and deploy software system updates regularly to maintain performance
Conduct unit/integrations testings, analysis, and troubleshooting programs/products before the final launch
Keep software security on high priority to ensure safe information sharing activities
Research and find the latest software development best practices and methodologies

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in remote software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Proficient with popular programming languages, including Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, etc.
Strong understanding of frameworks and libraries, including React, React Native, Node, Angular, Vue, etc.
Well-versed with data structures and algorithms, as well as, Web Services (REST)
Experience with web technologies, like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.
Fluent with code versioning tools like Git, SVN, Bitbucket, and project management tools like Jira
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS environment
Knowledge of CI/CD/CT pipelines
Familiar working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
