Job description

Job responsibilities

Participate in different programming processes to design, develop, document, review, test, analyze, and release code
Utilize modern abstractions and frameworks to produce high-quality code
Maintain close communication with product managers, designers & developers to build necessary software solutions
Participate in research, design, development, and optimization of new as well as existing applications
Assist in troubleshooting problems, fixing bugs, and creating documentation
Help the QA team to review software systems and applications to ensure high functionality

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of software engineering experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled engineers)
Solid understanding of designing, coding, debugging, and testing procedures
Strong knowledge of web/mobile application development, networking, systems, and security software engineering
Competent with computer science fundamentals as well as with data structures and algorithms
Fluency in English for effective communication
Availability to work with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Understanding of web stack, frameworks, libraries, etc.
Knowledge of complex code bases and version control systems
Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies
Great team player and confident in working without direct supervision
