Job description

Job responsibilities

Develop complex data analysis methodologies and predictive data models for assessing outcomes
Develop and lead projects that include a variety of advanced qualitative and quantitative analytic assignments
Collect, cleanse, analyze data and create detailed reports to help businesses have insightful information
Provide relevant data-related reports to impact the leadership and key community stakeholders for decision-making, action planning, and continuous improvement
Offer technical assistance and build understanding among partners about the effective use of data
Build systems and tools for effective data management, visualization, and interpretation with tools like Tableau or Power BI (systems design, dashboards, information graphics, mapping)
Proactively participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement processes

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or business data analyst (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Solid understanding of reporting packages (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, etc), databases (SQL, etc), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to utilize statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc)
Solid knowledge of queries, report writing, and presenting findings
Fluency in English language for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Excellent technical, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
Self-starter with strong time and team management skills
Good consultative and communication skills
