Job description
Job responsibilities
- Develop and perform customization of the Salesforce.com platform
- Oversee the integration of multiple systems with Salesforce,
- Create and develop JavaScript for data transformation in external systems and integrations.
- Utilize the Jira project management software to navigate and track development progression
- Design test protocols to provide high levels of confidence in software’s stability, usability, and security
- Assist product managers, tech counsel, or executive team in formulating requirements
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional experience in Salesforce development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Prior experience in Salesforce development using Lightning, VisualForce, Apex, Triggers, API, and Integration
- Proficiency with Salesforce Platform, partner ecosystem, Salesforce architecture, and API
- Solid understanding of sales cloud, service cloud, marketing cloud, JavaScript, and CSS
- Good working knowledge of Github, Bitbucket, or Subversion
- Experience in distributed systems, OOP, design patterns, and design methodology
- Expertise in implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) patterns
- Fluent in English for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities utilizing a Scrum process
- Exposure to monitoring and logging techniques is desired
- Basic understanding of MEAN stack
- Exposure to Web service technologies, such as REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, JDBC, MySQL is desired
- Knowledge of Agile development and delivery methodologies
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
