Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and perform customization of the Salesforce.com platform
  • Oversee the integration of multiple systems with Salesforce,
  • Create and develop JavaScript for data transformation in external systems and integrations.
  • Utilize the Jira project management software to navigate and track development progression
  • Design test protocols to provide high levels of confidence in software’s stability, usability, and security
  • Assist product managers, tech counsel, or executive team in formulating requirements

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Salesforce development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Prior experience in Salesforce development using Lightning, VisualForce, Apex, Triggers, API, and Integration
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Platform, partner ecosystem, Salesforce architecture, and API
  • Solid understanding of sales cloud, service cloud, marketing cloud, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Good working knowledge of Github, Bitbucket, or Subversion
  • Experience in distributed systems, OOP, design patterns, and design methodology
  • Expertise in implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) patterns
  • Fluent in English for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities utilizing a Scrum process
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging techniques is desired
  • Basic understanding of MEAN stack
  • Exposure to Web service technologies, such as REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, JDBC, MySQL is desired
  • Knowledge of Agile development and delivery methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
