Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that has established itself as a leader in the international food and beverage industry is looking for a React Native Engineer. The engineer will be using React Native to create beautiful, intuitive mobile applications that deliver a uniform user experience on both iOS and Android. The company’s range of products, snacks, and services have enabled them to become a household name in multiple countries across the globe. Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement user interfaces (UI) that are visually appealing and responsive based on design guidelines
  • Make sure the app functions correctly across a range of platforms, screen sizes, and orientations.
  • Work together to establish and implement app features and functionality with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
  • To manage codebase changes and collaborate on code, use version control tools like Git
  • Implement routing and navigation flows within the app to provide smooth changes between screens and sections
  • Write clear, maintainable, and effective code by adhering to coding standards and best practices
  • To encourage code reuse and maintainability, use reusable components and structures
  • Utilize state management tools like Redux or Context API to control the app's state
  • synchronize and authenticate data by integrating with numerous backend APIs and services to fetch and deliver data
  • To improve app functionality, evaluate and include third-party libraries and plugins
  • By guaranteeing effective rendering, minimizing needless re-renders, and leveraging performance monitoring tools, you may improve app speed.
  • Utilize methods to control memory utilization and stop memory leaks to make sure the software works efficiently
  • To make sure that individual parts and functions perform as expected, create and run unit tests
  • Utilize debugging tools, error log analysis, and extensive testing to locate and resolve faults and issues
  • When necessary, use platform-specific code to achieve desired platform-specific behaviors or optimizations
  • To keep the app current and competitive, keep up with the most recent React Native developments, industry trends, and best practices
  • Release the app in accordance with the criteria and specifications of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
  • After deployment, control app updates, bug fixes, and feature additions
  • Utilize analytics tools to track app usage and performance to gain insights and create data-driven enhancements
  • For better comprehension and information exchange among team members, document the codebase, components, and libraries
  • If user-facing instructions or guidelines are required to aid users in navigating and using the app efficiently, create them

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific experience working with React Native and Mobile App Development
  • Great collaboration and team-management skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
