Job responsibilities

Set the standard for code implementation to produce visual elements of the applications
Develop functional and engaging front-end elements
Create scalable, efficient, and reusable code and libraries
Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize software for maximum speed and scalability
Assist the back-end development team to achieve the best quality possible for every deliverable
Work with product managers, designers & engineers to deliver quality products

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in front-end development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SCSS
Experience in developing responsive design using Bootstrap or a similar framework
Proficiency in developing reusable components in Angular
Expertise in integrating front-end components with REST-based APIs
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Proficiency with Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, Gitlab)
Fluency in English language for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Knowledge of web performance best practices
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Strong Computer Science fundamentals
Knowledge of Forms-based Applications
Proficient working in Agile software development environment
Strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills
