Job description

Job responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in project discussions, requirement analysis, and planning development and delivery roadmap
Implement the solution using the chosen technology stack while adhering to best practices
Contribute to writing clean and scalable code and participate in peer review
Assist in debugging and troubleshooting problems in existing systems and software applications
Ensure high application performance by leveraging code quality analysis tools
Make sure to adhere to estimates for the project completion schedule and budget
Contribute to writing test cases and building test strategies for existing and new code to ensure stability, scalability, and availability

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of software development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
In-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages, including Java, Python, C++, C#, PHP, .NET Core, VB.NET, etc.
Proficient with front-end development languages, frameworks, and libraries including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, and React
Prolific knowledge of OOPS fundamentals, entity framework, REST APIs, and AJAX frameworks
Efficient in using code versioning tools like Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.
Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, etc., for developing, optimizing, and scaling the datasets
Well-versed with approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems
Fluency in English for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a daily 4-hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Experience working with cloud, big data, and blockchain technologies
Expertise in consuming RESTful services
Good knowledge of UML, API testing
Experience in SCRUM and Agile development methodologies
