Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Create and formulate effective and responsive designs
  • Install and build custom Drupal modules and consume web services
  • Test, debug, and update Drupal websites
  • Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet technical and business requirements
  • Assist the development team to write effective code that complies with engineering standards and best practices
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint retrospectives
  • Contribute to debugging and troubleshooting technical issues and identifying appropriate solutions

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer using Drupal (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Extensive programming experience in PHP and Drupal
  • Proficient in primary web development concepts, like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Good understanding of object-oriented PHP and other web technologies, like React, Node.js, GraphQL, Vue.js, etc.
  • Sound knowledge of SQL, including the use of JOINS and aggregation functions
  • Have strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) and a 4 hour overlap with US time zone

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of git for code management
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD processes
  • Experience or familiarity with Docker or other container/virtualized development environments
  • Familiarity with automated testing concepts, like behavioral testing, visual regression testing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines for projects
