Job description
Job responsibilities
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality apps across both Android and iOS platforms
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure highest product quality
- Develop and publish Android and/or iOS applications
- Architect applications, including Firebase, AWS, Azure, Push services, REST API, SQLite
- Document development processes, updates and follow best practices within the team
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to track, ideate, initiate projects
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile software development using Flutter (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Experience with writing, releasing, maintaining mobile applications and one or more published application in the Google Play, App Store, or Github
- Solid understanding of translating UI/ UX designs into code
- Knowledge of Location services, Maps, and other common iOS/ Android libraries
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Knowledge of Java/Swift programming and SQL/NoSQL technologies
- Experience with iOS build management and provisioning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, test-driven, Agile development environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
