Job description

Job responsibilities

Participate in client meetings to understand business and software requirements
Collaborate with front-end developers and integrate the front-end to server-side logic and database
Review and refactor the codebase, identify any gap, and ensure performance optimization
Investigate and identify bugs and performance issues and troubleshoot proactively
Monitor existing systems and share suggestions for better performance and output
Participate in every stage of SDLC right from design, deployment to maintenance, and support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement security and data protection solutions

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in Python development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Excellent proficiency in Python language and frameworks, including Django, Flask, Bottle, etc.
Strong grasp over Kubernetes and Docker
Well-versed with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc.
Efficient in JavaScript programming, including its libraries and frameworks
Excellent testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills for QA purposes
Prior experience working with Database, including schemas and ORMs
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Familiar with AI and ML concepts
Knowledge of GCP, AWS, REST API, and JSON
Prior experience in Agile software product development
Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
