Job description

Job responsibilities

You would spend time solving various advanced high school math problems, including those at the JEE level/Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level, and creating detailed explanations.

Solve a complex system of linear equations using matrices and explain the process step-by-step.
Find the area of a region bounded by a parabola and a line, using integration techniques, and explain the method in detail.
Solve challenging problems involving algebraic identities, permutations and combinations, and calculus, typical of JEE Advanced level questions.
Manage time effectively to solve problems under deadlines.
Communicate mathematical concepts clearly through written and verbal explanations.

Minimum requirements

Mathematical Proficiency: Strong skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus at the high school level or JEE level.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to approach complex problems systematically and creatively.
Explanation Skills: Capacity to break down solutions into clear, understandable steps.
Time Management: Ability to solve problems efficiently and meet deadlines.
Commitment: Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
Technical Setup: Desktop/Laptop with reliable internet connection and necessary software for mathematical computations and online collaboration.

Preferred skills

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related fields or candidates with exceptional math skills, even without a formal degree.
Experience tutoring or teaching high school or JEE-level mathematics.
Familiarity with JEE Main and Advanced exam formats.
Knowledge of mathematical software and tools (e.g., LaTeX, Google Colab) is a plus.
