Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist or data analyst.
  • 5+ years of Python programming and data science/analysis experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a group of at least five employees.
  • Demonstrable expertise with data science/analysis and SQL.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities to work well with researchers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and data analysis skills to identify key questions, provide meaningful answers, and communicate key findings in an organized manner.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience developing and implementing workflows for teams.
  • Ability to write high-quality Python code and explain logic in Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Proficiency in debugging programs and producing thorough documentation.
  • Expertise in reviewing machine-generated code for correctness, conciseness, and efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complicated issues to stakeholders and team members effectively.
  • Experience working with data evaluation tools such as tables, charts, and diagrams.
