Job Responsibilities

Write scalable code using Python programming language
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements
Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
Drive and manage full application development lifecycle and mentor junior developers

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of experience working as a Python developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Strong grasp of Python frameworks like Django, Flask, Bottle, etc.
Understanding of Google Cloud platform, AWS, REST API and JSON
Knowledge of server-side templating languages such as Jinja 2 and Mako
Expert understanding of multi-process architecture and threading limitations of Python
Prior development experience in Kubernetes and Docker
Familiarity with object-oriented programming and common design patterns
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database technologies
Familiarity with JavaScript and AngularJS frameworks
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies
Working experience in agile/scrum environment
Great interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
