Job description

Job responsibilities

Participate in creating clean, scalable, efficient and reusable code while adhering to software development best practices
Collaborate with the project managers to build website layout and user interface
Communicate with back-end developers to integrate data from multiple back-end services and databases
Accumulate, analyze and conclude the design specifications regarding business requirements as well as technical needs
Maintain thorough documentation of the development process for future reference
Work closely with web designers to implement ideas following visual design intent

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in website and application development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Hands-on experience in at least one of the high-level programming languages, including Javascript, ASP.NET, PHP, or Ruby on Rails, etc.
Proficient with relational database systems, object-oriented programming and web app development
Good understanding of databases including MySQL, SQL, NoSQL, etc.
Well-versed with website security, session management, and development best practices
Fluency in English language for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Proven working experience in Windows and Linux environments
Understanding of network diagnostics, network analytics tools
Familiar with modern web development workflows and operations
Proficient working in Agile development environment
Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills
