Job description
Job responsibilities
- Write and maintain code for different .NET applications
- Develop and update software solutions using .NET frameworks
- Assist in analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas of improvement in existing systems
- Work closely with the QA team to handle defect-tracking systems and troubleshoot issues
- Keep documentation of all technical specifications and test plans
- Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to keep track of the system activities and provide the required support
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3+ years of .NET development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Solid design and development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, etc.
- Strong background in object-oriented development techniques
- Proficient with database design and development with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in developing components and web services
- Knowledge of WCF, concurrent development source control (SVN), etc.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with the US time zone
Preferred skills
- Understanding of source code management with TFS/GIT
- Familiar with T-SQL and MS Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Passionate about learning new technologies
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
