Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Write and maintain code for different .NET applications
  • Develop and update software solutions using .NET frameworks
  • Assist in analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas of improvement in existing systems
  • Work closely with the QA team to handle defect-tracking systems and troubleshoot issues
  • Keep documentation of all technical specifications and test plans
  • Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to keep track of the system activities and provide the required support

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3+ years of .NET development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Solid design and development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, etc.
  • Strong background in object-oriented development techniques
  • Proficient with database design and development with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in developing components and web services
  • Knowledge of WCF, concurrent development source control (SVN), etc.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with the US time zone

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of source code management with TFS/GIT
  • Familiar with T-SQL and MS Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Passionate about learning new technologies
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
