Job description
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders to analyze and understand business requirements
- Support the QA team to deliver software as per business requirements
- Write reusable, testable, and scalable code and contribute to software design and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to company standards
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Assist in the implementation of security and data protection
- Follow modern development processes and best practices, and help manage the product backlog
- Solve simple to complex coding and architectural problems with innovative solutions
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a front-end software developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled engineers)
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications, and implementing RESTful web services
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and its frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, etc.
- Expertise in creating CI/CD pipelines and deploying solutions in the Cloud
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and SVN
- Well-versed with programming fundamentals and their application to highly scalable web-based systems
- Proficient in developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
- Good understanding of full-stack development with experience in designing solutions using MongoDB, Node.js
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- The ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) and a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Experience in Responsive Web Design
- Prolific skills in developing unit tests
- Familiar with serverless architecture (AWS lambda)
- Experience with Angular Material Design
- Familiar with testing frameworks, like Jasmine, Cypress, etc.
- Exposure to .NET and C# programming language is a plus
- Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in Agile development principles
