Job responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of websites
Collaborate with web designers to develop user-facing features and strong front-end user experience
Work closely with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective software solutions
Participate in application optimization for enhanced performance, scalability, and high availability
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and assist in translating visual ideas into effective code
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience as an HTML developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Highly proficient in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and XML
Extensive experience in web programming and well-versed in Object-Oriented Programming
Experience working with jQuery/Bootstrap, and JSON
Experiences in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, like SASS and LESS
Prolific expertise in translating user requirements into code and building intuitive front-end applications
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
Basic understanding of CMSs, like WordPress, Shopify, etc.
Proficient with code versioning tools, including Git, GitFlow, Mercurial, SVN, etc.
Keen attention to detail and strong creative and logical thinking skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
