Job description

Job responsibilities

Design and build efficient intuitive front-end applications
Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes and create intuitive interactions from designs
Participate in writing reusable content modules and code maintenance
Make sure to implement UI development principles to ensure the application serves the client-side demands at scale
Work with product managers, designers & engineers to deliver quality products

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT or relevant field
3+ years of experience as a front-end developer (exceptions made based on skill level)
Wide working experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Good understanding of UI layouts, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React, etc.
Proficient with complex code bases, systems & source code control systems
Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Experience in Unix/Linux development environments
Well-versed with debugging using JS-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
Ability to integrate front-end components with REST-based APIs
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Comfortable working in Agile environments
