Job description

Job responsibilities

Design and develop applications for Apple’s iOS
Participate in complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs
Write & perform unit/integration tests ensuring usability & reliability of mobile applications
Collaborate with the designers to define and implement new application features
Identify and correct development bottlenecks and fix bugs
Assist in running unit testing and performance testing to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience working as an iOS developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Extensive experience in developing iOS apps using Swift or Objective-C
Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming
Well-versed with Core Data, Core Animation, and other iOS frameworks
Solid understanding of iOS mobile app development cycle and Apple design principles
Understanding of common design patterns including Model-View-Controller
Fluency in English for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a daily 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Familiar with unit testing and integration testing
Good working knowledge of Mercurial, Git, SVN, and other versioning tools
Proficient with standard debugging techniques, like logging, LLDB, instruments to localize and correct software defects
Knowledge of C-based libraries
Experience with push notifications and cloud message APIs
Excellent creative and logical thinking
Good communication and interpersonal skills
