Job responsibilities

Design, develop and manage microservices and back-end APIs for high traffic applications
Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure
Assist in analyzing website performance and suggest improvements
Participate in coding, testing, and operations of Node.js-based services
Use tools and ingenuity efficiently to identify and fix bugs

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in Node.js web development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Experience in design and implementation of RESTFul services with Node.js
Understanding of offering production support for large-scale distributed systems
Proficient with Node frameworks such as Express, StrongLoop, etc.
Knowledge of JavaScript and its libraries
Fluency in English for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a daily 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Clean and scalable code writing skills
Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Familiar with relational database systems
A clear idea of cloud technologies, like AWS, Azure, etc.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

No, you don't need to pay any taxes in the U.S. However, you might need to pay taxes according to your country’s tax laws. Also, your bank might charge you a small amount as a transaction fee.
