Job description
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with project owners, stakeholders, and software engineering teams to determine design and technology choices for application development
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-performant, scalable cloud-based software
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of functional and reusable front-end systems and flawless Android and iOS user interfaces
- Deploy native APIs for tight integrations with both Android and iOS platforms
- Work closely with the UI/UX designers to implement clean, smooth animations to offer an engaging and responsive user interface
- Assist in creating automated tests and ensure error-free code and enhanced performance
- Contribute to improving the performance of the websites/mobile apps by implementing Redux architecture
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize code quality, performance, and application scalability
- Maintain precise code documentation and thorough development process for future reference
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of experience in React Native software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Solid understanding of React Native, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, functional programming, and front-end languages
- Well-versed in working with REST APIs, document request model, and offline storage
- Sound knowledge of Typescript ES6, JSX, and tools like Flux, Flow, Redux
- Significant working experience with native build tools like XCode and Gradle Android Studio
- Strong understanding of app UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Proficient with OOPs fundamentals, XML, JSON, and web services,
- Ability to write well-documented, clean, and scalable Java and JavaScript code
- In-depth knowledge of a variety of React Native software and technologies, like Jest, Enzyme, ESLint, etc.
- Fluency in the English language for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Experience with user interface design and responsive designs
- Knowledge of unit testing, code debugging, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with automated testing and deployment pipelines
- Ability to handle large, complex web and mobile apps
- Experience in AWS services including Lambda, IAM, etc. is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to solving complex problems
