Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Assist in developing web-based software using programming languages such as VB.NET, C#, and MSSQL
  • Participate in performing extensive software testing and stringent quality checks
  • Ensure to deliver error-free and fully functional software solutions
  • Write and implement efficient and scalable code that adheres to specified guidelines
  • Contribute to delivering user-friendly and visually compelling software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Dot NET development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Experience working with NET languages (especially Visual Basic .NET, C#), HTML, and CSS
  • Sound knowledge of SQL Server, ASP.NET framework, and architectural patterns such as MVC (Model-View-Controller)
  • Good understanding of databases and their languages like SQL, etc.
  • Experience working with architectural styles and APIs like RPC and REST
  • Fluency in English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of HTML and XML markup languages
  • Good at debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment
  • Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills
