Job description

Job responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project owners to understand client requirements for software development projects
Communicate with software developers to build intuitive software that meets and exceeds client requirements
Help to maintain software systems/applications and create updates to address business concerns
Take charge of analyzing and testing programs and products before launch/delivery
Ensure a productive workplace by identifying and troubleshooting coding issues quickly and efficiently
Act proactively to handle software security by developing secure systems and monitoring confidential information sharing patterns
Explore and identify new opportunities to improve software development processes and interactions

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Strong understanding of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries, including React, Node, Python, JavaScript, React Native, PHP, Python, Java, among others
Fluent with UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards
Proficient with software design and architecture for large-scale distributed systems
Efficiency in working with data structures and algorithms
Well-versed with Web Services (REST) along with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
Functional knowledge and experience with various code versioning tools, like Git, GitFlow, SVN, and project management tools, like JIRA
Fluent in English to communicate effectively with internal and external teams
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Familiar with Linux/Unix environment
Understanding of CI/CD/CT pipelines
Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
