Job description

Job responsibilities

Utilize .NET infrastructure to create software solutions
Rewrite existing code to ensure compliance with specified guidelines
Ensure that outputs are user-friendly and visually compelling
Deploying developments and monitoring uptake by the target audience.
Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding web or mobile apps
Monitor the everyday activities of the system and provide the required support

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 3+ years of .NET development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Solid design and development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, etc.
Strong background in object-oriented development techniques
Proficient with database design and development with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in developing components and web services
Knowledge of WCF, concurrent development source control (SVN), etc.
Ability to communicate fluently in English with engineering managers
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with the US time zone

Preferred skills

Understanding of T-SQL and MS Reporting Services (SSRS)
Knowledge of source code management with TFS/GIT
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Passion for technology and knowledge
